States of Matter Research  - Solids, Liquids and Gases  (20/04/20)

This week, your task is to research 'States of Matter'. Materials are grouped into three different states - solids, liquids and gases.

Your challenge is to find out what you can about each state (their properties) using the information and clips below or any extra research you complete online. You are to display your findings in a table like the one below. This can be recorded into your yellow book or created on the computer in an imaginative way with pictures too.

Remember you can email the Year 4 teachers with your finished pieces of work, they could appear on the website!

Check out the extra challenges further down! Can you complete any?

This is how you should set out your work. Read the information below to find out more.

Science Research - Digestion (30.3.20)

Use any of the information below and the selected websites to research the human digestive system. Your task is to find out why digestion is important, the organs involved and their functions (jobs). It's up to you how you would like to record your information.  You can produce a poster, a factfile or a piece of creative artwork labelled with the details.  You may decide you would like to create this on the computer and print it out to stick in your yellow book.

If you would like to take any photographs or email the Year 4 teachers your work then it may appear on this website!

Good luck with your challenge.
