Lina's a VIP at Headingley
Thu 23 May 2019Year 5 pupil Lina had the most amazing VIP Day at Headingley Cricket Stadium , where she met England player Jonny Bairstow.Having been collected in a chauffeur driven Mercedes,she stepped onto the red carpet and wowed the photographers as she graced the occasion with her beaming smile and bubbly personality.
There then followed a tour of the stadium,a match on the actual pitch and a chance to handle the match ball from the recent ODI between England and Pakistan.
Not to forget all the yummy food and the quiz - in which she won a prize for getting all the questions right.
Armed with a huge collection of amazing gifts - including a helmet,signed bat,pads,gloves,water bottles,personalised shirt and Yorkshire Tea box ,she wearily got back into her Mercedes to head back home.After a day she would never ever forget.
Did I mention ... she was also given £100 voucher for Pizza Express and £100 voucher for Vue Cinemas. WOW !! OMG!!!!
