French at Audley Junior School

Here at Audley we really want the teaching and learning of MFL (French) to spark the pupils’ curiosity of a different language and enable them to express their ideas and thoughts in that language. Pupils will learn about France itself, its rich culture and the lives of its people, allowing pupils to make comparisons with their own lifestyles.  

Our pupils will have the opportunity to read, understand and respond in French, both in the spoken and written form with increasing confidence and fluency as well as improving the accuracy of their pronunciation and intonation.
