Welcome from the Headteacher
Welcome to AJS!
We like to think of ourselves as one big happy family who look after one another and want each other to succeed.
Here at Audley Junior School it is important to us that your child is the best that they can be. We want them to learn to become independent, resilient, risk-taking individuals ready for the next stage in their journey. To achieve that, we aim to give them stimulating and fun lessons that catch their imagination and allow them to develop their skills and deepen their knowledge. We are constantly improving our learning environments to ensure that our children have the very best.
Visitors to the school often comment on what a happy school we are, and we are! The children and staff are all part of our big Audley family and we look after and care for one another. Manners, mutual respect and giving your personal best are important to us. We have high expectations of all our children and it is important to us that they do the best that they can.
Here at Audley Juniors we talk about everyone in our school having three rights.
- A right to be happy;
- A right to feel safe;
- A right to good learning. These rights are really important to us and they help us to keep our school the happy place that it is.
At AJS, we also want to work with you, as the parent, to support your child in their learning. If you have any concerns at all then please come to see us. We will be more than happy to help. We have regular parents' meetings and learning sessions throughout the year that you can attend.
If you are considering this school for your child and would like to see us in action then please come for a visit. We would be only too happy to show you around.
