My child has been given a place, what happens now?
When the places are allocated, a letter is sent home to confirm this and request a small deposit to secure your child's place.
This is an overview of what happens in the run up to the residential:
Deposits paid to secure places
Medical form completed (for school use)
Additional payments are made to pay the remaining amount before the deadline
Families are invited in to school to meet with the staff and discuss any concerns they may have
Children (and families) decide which clothes, shoes, etc. they will take with them (see Kit List on the Important Information page)
Children and parents meet at school at 8:15am on the morning of the trip
Important dates for June 2022 visit:
Week Beg. 21st February – assembly for Y5 & Y6 pupils, letters sent home with pupils
Wednesday 23rd March – deadline for names to be submitted to school
Friday 25th March – children’s names selected at random, confirmation letter sent home
Friday 1st April – deadline for £20 deposit to be paid to secure places
Wednesday 25th May – information meeting for parents and pupils going on the trip
Friday 27th May – deadline for remaining money to be paid
Monday 20th June – meet at school at 8:15am
Friday 24th June – return to school by 3pm
