My child has been given a place, what happens now?
When places are allocated, a letter is sent home to confirm this and to request a small deposit to secure your child's place.
This is an overview of what happens in the run up to the residential:
Deposits paid to secure places
Medical form completed (for school use)
Additional payments are made to pay the remaining amount before the deadline
Families are invited in to school to meet with the staff and discuss any questions they may have
Children (and families) decide which clothes, shoes, etc. they will take with them (see Kit List on the Important Information page)
Children and parents meet at school at 8:55am on the morning of the trip
Important dates for June 2026 visit:
Wednesday 21st January – assembly for Y6 and Y5 pupils, letters sent home
Thursday 5th February – deadline for names to be submitted to school
Friday 6th February – children’s names selected at random, confirmation letter sent home
Friday 20th February – deadline for £40 deposit to be paid to secure place
Wednesday 6th May – information meeting for parents and pupils going on the trip
Friday 8th May – deadline for remaining £110 to be paid on Parent Pay
Monday 1st June – meet at school at 8:55am, coach leaves at 9am
Friday 5th June – return to school at 2:30pm
